Nettoyage et peinture complète du moteur. Boucle arrière refaite et réalisation d'un bac à batterie à la place de la boîte à air. Toutes les pattes du cadre sont coupées et meulées. Après sablage, moldeling des soudures apparentes.
La fourche d'origine, est remplacée par celle d'un 850 GS. Pas de frein à l'arrière histoire d'alléger le visuel de la partie arrière. (Je me suis rendu compte qu'en utilisation standard, je n'utilisais jamais le frein arrière.) Guidon drag-bar, pneux avon distanzia.
Plus de neiman ! A la place, un système de démarrage à distance. Faisceau électrique simplifié.
Je me suis même mis à la couture pour faire la selle !

Complete cleaning and painting engine. Back loop redone and realization of a battery tray in place of the air box. All the legs of the frame are cut and ground. After sanding, moldeling exposed welds.
The original fork is replaced by that of a 850 GS. No rear brake to reduce the visual history of the back. (I realized that standard use, I never used the rear brake.) Handlebar drag bar, avon Distanzia tires .
More Neiman! Instead, a remote start system. Simplified wiring harness.
I even started sewing to the saddle!

#3 BMW R65 1981 BSW B40
Le cadre a été coupé afin de laisser passer le réservoir de BSA B40 peint en rouge et en partie habillé de cuir. Fabrication d'une nouvelle boucle arrière soudée sur le cadre. Sablage du cadre, du moteur et de quelques pièces afin de faire la peinture epoxy structuré noir. Ligne d'échappement inox. Selle en cuir vieilli avec leds intégrés.Pas de phare sur la fourche mais 2 phares de chaque côté de la moto. Batterie planquée sous la selle, cache culbus ronds, etc...
Ola Stenegärd, le boss designer de BMW a aimé ma moto lors du Wheels & Waves 2015 et m'a invité à l'exposer à paris. J'ai eu droit aussi à un article de 3 pages sur le Café Racer n°78. Cool, realy cool.

I found a BSA B40 Tank and it inspired me to build this bike. I couldn't afford to buy an original BSA so I decided to turn a bmw into an english bike.
First, I cut the frame so that the tank could fit into it. I realised a new rear loop aligned with the bottom of the tank, an new stainless steal saddle background. I'm really proud of the saddle which is made of aged leather and has integrated Leds. The stainless steal exhaust pipes are also aligned to the bottom of the tank and are going through the frame. There is a DBkiller inside. To accentuate the english style of the bike, I added a modified Norton Manx fairing and a lateral crutch made of a golf club. I reduced and hide the electric circuit. There are Avon Roadrider tires 130/80 rear and 110/80 front. There aren't front lights on the fork but there are two lights on both sides.
I went to the last Wheels & Waves and I'm very proud because the international BMW designer love my bike invited me in Paris to the 2015 R NINE T Contest to exposed my bike. Cool, realy cool!!!
I placed leather on the top of the tank. I asked my daughter Lou Ann to find a sentence and a drawing that would accentuate the fusion between the english and the german sides of the bike. So she wrote "Unconventionnal wedding with a british girl" on the fairing and drew an illustration composed of a beer and an english crown.

#4 TRIUMPH THUNDIRBIRD 1993
Petit lifing sur la moto d'un couple d'amis, Ugo & Lolo. Peinture mate du réservoir et déchromage de nombreuses pièces comme les jantes... Gardes-boues raccourcis et retravaillés, petits feux arrière et clignotants. Nouveaux silencieux. Rien de bien spectaculaire mais elle a repris un coup de jeune !!!

Un projet pour mon pote Sylvain sur une base de CB500. Pas très chaud au départ d'essayer de transformer cette moto. Un cadre en tubes carrés, un gros réservoir, etc... Sylvain voulait donner un look vintage à la moto de sa femme en me laissant quand même assez libre dans mes choix. J'espère avoir réussi à lui donner un petit air vintage. Peinture satinée et effet usée, selle en bois et cuir. Phare obus, compteur Vélona, trappe réservoir Monza, etc...
